Members voted 94% in favour of the new two-year agreement, delivering a 7% pay increase and improved night-shift provisions. With Canterbury's Aoraki Mackenzie dark sky reserve expanding, we've published a guide on how changes to reserve boundaries may affect employment conditions and site access. Members working in or near the reserve should review the guide, available on request from the union office.

This year's annual general meeting will be held in Christchurch. All financial members are welcome to attend and vote. Nominations for committee positions close 5 July — contact the secretary if you'd like to stand. Agenda and venue details will be circulated two weeks prior.
