About ArkMajors

ArkMajors represents star gazers, astronomers, observatory staff, and related professionals across the Canterbury region. Founded to give our community a collective voice, we work to ensure fair pay, safe working conditions, and recognition for the vital role our members play.

Whether you work at an observatory, run public education programmes, support research at a university, or contribute to New Zealand's dark sky network — if you're in Canterbury and you look up for a living, ArkMajors is your union.
